The lack of water and good sanitation at Nungwi school is affecting the children’s learning and their lives. Providing water , sanitation and hygiene (WASH) helps to reduce hygiene related diseases and improves the life quality of the children of Nungwi.
With a small donation upon check out you can help our “WASH!” project to provide better sanitary conditions for the children at Nungwi school. Sandies Baobab Beach has supported the school with the installation of a 3000 litres fresh water tank which is currently filled twice a week from our side. But there is so much more to do to ensure children have better possibilities for their personal sanitation and hygiene. Our next projects include the installation of hand wash basins and better sanitary facilities.
